1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Kurbee mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. About Kurbee

Kurbee is a free platform that connects people who want to give away household items ("Posters") with people who want to pick them up ("Pickers"). Kurbee does not buy, sell, own, or handle any items. All transactions are free of charge between users.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Kurbee. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

5. Posting Items

When you post an item on Kurbee, you agree that:

• You own the item or have the right to give it away
• The item is accurately described and photographed
• The item will be placed curbside and accessible for pickup
• The item does not violate our Prohibited Items policy (Section 7)
• Listings automatically expire at 6:00 AM the morning after your trash collection day

6. Picking Up Items

When you pick up an item on Kurbee, you agree that:

• You are physically present at the item's location to confirm pickup
• You will use the in-app GPS verification to mark items as picked up
• You will not mark items as picked up without physically collecting them
• Items are taken as-is with no warranty or guarantee of condition

7. Prohibited Items

You may not post the following items on Kurbee:

• Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, batteries, fuel, asbestos)
• Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
• Recalled products or items with known safety defects
• Controlled substances or drug paraphernalia
• Items that are stolen or illegally obtained
• Explicit, adult, or otherwise inappropriate content
• Live animals

Violating this policy may result in immediate account termination.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to bypass GPS verification through fraudulent means
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App
• Interfere with the App's technical infrastructure

9. Content and Photos

By posting photos or content on Kurbee, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the App. You retain ownership of your content. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on any third-party rights.

10. No Warranty on Items

Kurbee is a platform only. We make no representations or warranties about the condition, safety, or suitability of any items posted. All items are provided as-is by the Poster. Pickers accept all risk associated with picking up and using items.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kurbee shall not be liable for:

• Any injuries, property damage, or losses arising from item pickup or use
• The accuracy, safety, or legality of items posted by users
• Any disputes between Posters and Pickers
• Loss of data, service interruptions, or technical failures
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

12. Reporting and Moderation

Users can report listings that violate these Terms using the flag button on any listing. We review reports and reserve the right to remove any listing and suspend any account at our discretion.

13. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice for violations of these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will provide notice of material changes via in-app notification.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
